Beth and I were married February 11th in the Bahamas. Our close friends and family travelled
to Nassau with us and had great vacation before the wedding. Afterwards the two of us took off
for Harbour Island for the honeymoon. It was a great couple of weeks and we'd like to thank
everyone who came with us or sent gifts. It's greatly appreciated.

I'll be scanning some of the professional wedding pictures and posting them here soon.
Most of the ones taken with my digital camera came out a bit dark due to the tricky
lighting conditions (it was an outdoor wedding under a gazebo). My brother-in-law Rich
did a great job under the circumstances though, so I'll post a couple of his for now:

Here are a few of the professional wedding pictures that I've scanned. Our friends and family have
been sending pictures that they took, so I'll post more as I get time to go through them all.

Maryanne and Rich sent these:

The reception:

A couple of days before the wedding, we and our friends took a day trip with "Powerboat Adventures".
It was a lot of fun and I got some great pictures using an underwater case for my camera. Three types
of sharks showed up - Reef, Nurse and Lemon. The Lemon sharks were huge. If the water seems
cloudy in a few shots, it's because the sharks were feeding and thrashing around a lot.

This one got within about 6 inches of my camera before turning. These shots are in sequence:

My Dad and I did some Parasailing with Evan and Phoebe:

More snorkelling:

Some random pictures from the honeymoon on Harbour Island. The free-roaming poultry
ensures that you wake up early. The island has the most amazing beach I've ever seen -
about 4 miles of pink sand. Beth was very excited about her coffee in the pic below.
By the way, I'd be much obliged if someone could identify that freakish bird. We called it "The Ducken".

The last picture here is the sign on what I'm guessing is one of the island's less popular nightclubs...

John and I got a tour of Compass Point Studios, where some of our all time favorite albums were
recorded. The reel to reel in the first pic is the machine that was used to record AC-DC's "Back in Black"
and Iron Maiden's "Piece of Mind" and "Powerslave", among many others. Now it lives in a storage room...
We've never denied being geeks, so save your breath. Thanks to Sherrie and Terry Manning for being kind
enough to show us around.

Well, that's it for now. I took over 300 photos over the course of our trip, and I can't be bothered posting them all.
